User and authority contact deskParticipation terms
- Participation is for adults aged 18 or older. Represent organizations only where authorized. Roles and affiliations are self-declared unless a separate verification is shown.
- Use accurate descriptions, credit sources and disclose limits. Do not post unlawful content, confidential information without permission, misleading financial claims or personal data about others.
- A Box may have multiple competing solutions and independent teams. Votes signal community interest; they do not prove feasibility, grant ownership or constitute an investment decision.
- Company prize challenges use their frozen published terms, deadlines and eligibility rules. Comparative trial rooms use their own displayed rules. Read the specific rules before submitting; an earlier submission wins a tie only where that rule expressly applies.
- Sponsors are responsible for their direct prize commitments. Acceptance, sponsor payment reports and recipient receipt confirmation are distinct records. Reported payments are not independently verified settlement. STARK-Up does not hold participant capital through this platform.
- Joining a team is voluntary. Team charters record consent and responsibilities; incorporation, employment, equity and commercialization require separate agreements. Graduation records platform milestones, not a registered company or investment approval.
- Funding and mentorship expressions are non-binding introductions. No personalized investment advice, guaranteed returns, live token issuance, custody or exchange is offered.
- No paid platform subscription checkout is enabled in this release. Future paid services require disclosed prices and separate applicable contract terms.
- Human administrators may restrict content under the moderation process below. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. There is no guarantee of a prize, startup success or fundraising.
Commercial enquiries and services
Community participation is free. Organizations may request a written proposal for scoped STARK-Up services. Published indicative B2B prices are planning references; submitting an enquiry creates no purchase, subscription, investment or prize obligation. A separate written agreement defines fees, taxes, scope, responsibilities, milestones and cancellation.
Paid services do not change evidence scores or award rules. Prize capital stays separate from service fees. Name, email, organization and your submitted brief are processed privately to handle the enquiry; signed-in users can track replies through their account.
Services and partnership enquiriesIntellectual property and tool credits
You retain the rights you lawfully hold. By submitting material for publication, you grant STARK-Up a non-exclusive permission to store, display and technically reproduce that material to operate the platform and its review workflows. This does not give sponsors a commercial licence or transfer copyright, patents or equity.
Choose repository licences separately. Permission to publish a pitch does not necessarily permit reuse of its source code. Contributors and future teams must agree commercial rights explicitly. Public disclosure can affect patent novelty; use the platform only for material you are ready to disclose. A confidential submission vault is not available.
Timestamps, fingerprints and certificates record platform evidence. They do not determine legal ownership or guarantee originality. Optional tool credits must accurately name tools used and their contribution. You remain responsible for third-party rights and reviewing outputs.
Tools, evidence and human decisions
Solutions may be developed with or without generative tools. Where used, give accurate credits, check source permissions, review factual claims and test outputs. Optional draft assistance does not decide awards, establish IP ownership or make investment recommendations.
The applicable EU AI Act obligations depend on the specific system and STARK-Up’s role. Transparency, staff literacy and any risk-specific requirements must be reviewed against the actual deployment. This platform does not claim AI Act certification or replace that review.
European Commission AI Act guidance ↗Privacy information
STARK-Up GmbH is the intended controller. Its verified contact appears above once configured. We store sign-in identity, private contact details, your profile and participation records. Names, roles, locations, biographies, websites and content you publish are public within the platform’s audience. Team work, private offers and service-desk requests have restricted access.
Private contacts are shared with a team coordinator only through an explicit offer-sharing confirmation. Avoid bank information, sensitive health details and third-party identifiers in public evidence or support descriptions.
Hosting and authentication providers must be documented for this deployment before public access is enabled. Connected AI assistance, if enabled, requires a separate draft-sharing confirmation. GitHub, Asana and Zapier data synchronization is not enabled. No optional analytics or marketing tracker is added by this release; hosting and sign-in may use technically necessary storage.
Before public launch, the operator must finalize and review the purposes and legal bases for each processing activity, provider contracts, international transfers, retention periods and rights-handling procedures. These details have not been independently verified here. Public launch stays blocked until the privacy review is recorded.
You can request access, correction, export, objection or deletion through the support desk or the operator contact. Requests require human review and identity confirmation; submission does not immediately delete evidence or records subject to lawful retention. You may complain to the competent data-protection authority.
Make a privacy requestModeration, notices and appeals
Report the exact content location, explain the concern and include a good-faith statement. Name and email are requested, with an exception for qualifying sensitive-content reports. Reports are private. Administrators assess evidence, may hide or restore material, record reasons and respond through the service desk. You can request review of a moderation decision.
The support desk provides an on-screen receipt and signed-in request tracking. Signed-in support acknowledgments and affected-author moderation decisions are delivered to a private notifications inbox with reasons and an appeal link. Email delivery, anonymous-reporter communication and operational review still require setup before public launch.
For imminent danger, contact emergency services; this desk is not an emergency response service. Authorities can use the direct operator email once configured.
